100% new Quicksilver Value Series longblocks are not converted automobile units nor remanufactured. Quicksilver Value Series longblocks are built from scratch for Marine applications, and some are compatible for Industrial duty.
100% New Content Quicksilver Engine features: cast iron block, large fillet radii crankshaft, Tri‑metal bearings, 9.3:1 hypereutectic pistons, and 1.5:1 rocker arms. Quicksilver cylinder head features: hardened seats, screw in studs, Black‑X valves & an exclusive Quicksilver combustion chamber allowing 4 deg BTDC base timing. Content includes harmonic balancer, oil pan, & valve cover. Compatible with front or side engine mounts. Pilot bore machined into crankshaft to accept dealer installed Volvo couplers. No provision for cylinder head mounted fuel injectors.
