Shieldsaust ­C Hose has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with double wire helix imbeddedbetween plies of synthetic cord and is abrasion resistant. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals,antifreeze, and saltwater. This hose is primarily used for wet exhaust connections with significant bends, engineintake and scupper lines. The temperature ranges from -20°F to + 200°F continuous, +250°F intermittent. The hosenow has double the ozone resistance required by SAEJ2006. This hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards
