As the powerplant for the strong running Mercury custom 383-Stroker, this longblock features line-honed camshaft bores, and line-honed 4-bolt crankshaft main caps. The power for this engine comes from the balanced stroker connecting rods, and highly polished stroker crankshaft. The rest of the best includes a contour ground marine roller camshaft, moly-coated hypereutectic pistons, moly-faced piston rings, 5-angle stainless steel intake and exhaust valves, valve covers, timing cover, new water pump, high volume oil-pump, oil pan, and marine specific head gaskets. Completely HOT-TESTED! Rated to 350-Crankshaft horsepower and 325-at the prop.
Replaces 2005 thru 2007 Mercury Remanufacturing Multi-Port, Gen+, 383-Stroker sterndrive and inboard longblocks with CPS (crankshaft position sensor)

NOTE: When replacing an MIE longblock, it may be necessary to transfer the original Aluminum Oil Pan to the replacement block for additional corrosion protection and to assure a proper dipstick location
This longblock assembly includes new pistons, rings, bearings, marine gaskets, high-volume oil pump, stainless steel valves, heavy-duty valve springs, valve-keys, hydraulic lifters, camshaft, water-pump and marine block plugs. The cylinders are freshly bored & honed. Crankshaft is ground and polished. Connecting Rods are fully re-conditioned. To save change-out time we also include the valve-cover(s), front timing cover, oil-pan, oil-filter, break-in oil, hot testing, factory painted, and strapped firmly in our heavy-duty returnable container.

To receive the $250.00 core bounty and the Container fee of $250.00, simply insert a copy of the dealerships original purchase invoice into the container along with the old long block and send it back.
